The 2,000 acre Thornham Estate in north Suffolk has diversified, developed and adapted to suit the needs of people living in the 21st century.  Activities on the Estate include country Walks and the Walled Garden.

It was with great regret that the Trustees of the Thornham Field Centre closed the school environmental education programme at Thornham at the end of the summer term 2009. For many years parties of school children have come to Thornham to enjoy this beautiful estate, but in the current financial climate we no longer have the resources to continue this educational work. Many thanks for all your support over the years. This decision in no way affects Thornham Walks, the Walled Garden Horticultural Project or any other project at Thornham.
